The photo was taken at the front door of 4 Norre gatan(or was it vagen) in Varnamo,where we all lived. Just before Chris died he sent me a lovely card and a photo of Sic and myself taken in 1940 in the backyard. I recall that there was a brook flowing by and that next door was what in those days was called an insane asylum. In 1999 I visited that house( a Swedish Rotarian,a banker I believe, had said the night before"I know the house you lived in and I will take you there tomorrow"),then inhabited by a very kindly elderly gentleman who had many beautiful paintings on the downstairs walls.He invited me to look around and it was most nostalgic. Jag har för mig att Sic var Helges jakthund. I så fall är korten tagna i Sverige.
Spännande, jag försökte se likheten med hunden i första inlägget i denna blogg. Och ingen mamma finns att fråga! Vi skulle ha tittat i denna scrapbook tillsammans.

Else-on-the-rock was taken at a cottage near Ustrahult on Vidostern lake. It was owned by Helge and Anna before Skeda.We all spent time there during summers.
